Things to Remember
- Always make backups. Most users don't have any backup plan. Even if your computer has been running fine, you should be making backups of all your important data. Programs can be reinstalled. It's never a matter of IF, but a matter of WHEN. Computers do fail eventually.
- Have your original software. Make sure you have all your computers software discs including your Operating System (Windows). Also, any installation keys or licenses should be kept. All this is necessary if your computer requires something or everything to be reinstalled.
